International Student Services Office
The official liaison between SAC and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) assists with admission, registration, medical insurance, social and academic activities and more. Enrolled students are helped to take advantage of USCIS benefits while maintaining their legal status from the point of college admission to the point of transfer to another institution or return to home country.

Using PALS to Access Syllabus/Course Tools
— If you have NEVER used PALS before, begin here:
• Go to
www.accd.edu
• Click on
San Antonio College
• Click on
PALS (small box on left hand side of screen)
• You are now on the main page for PALS
• Go to the
“Need Help Logging In Box” (left hand side of screen)
• Click on
#1 CLICK HERE to obtain your PALS Login User Name
• The next screen will ask you for your
social security number. Type it in and click
submit.
• The next screen will give you your
PALS Login User Name and will tell you your
initial password
is the first two characters of the last name in upper case followed by the last six digits of the social
security number.
• EXAMPLE:
• John Doe
• SSN = 123987654
• John Doe's Password = DO987654 |
• Go back to the main PALS page and type in your Login User Name and initial password (you may
change your password using directions found on the website). Continue with the below instructions.
— If you KNOW how to get into PALS start here:
• Once you are into the PALS program, you can go to your class by clicking on the “My Courses” tab.
• Locate your class (i.e, Fund of Speech) and click on the link.
• On the left hand side you will see Course Tools.
• To obtain the syllabus and other course material, you will need to click on “files.”
• Click on the desired file and it will download the document to your computer.
• Once downloaded, you may print or save the document.
• If your instructor wants you to look at a link from the Internet, go to “links” under course tools to open.

If you have problems logging on or downloading documents you may contact the Help Desk at 220-1616. If you prefer to receive face to face help, go over to the Internet Skills Center, Moody Learning Center (MLC)-400B (4th floor-next to the audiovisual department).
